A PLASTERER has set up his own training school in a bid to encourage more people into the trade.
Daniel Stewart, 27, said Art of Plastering would run five-day courses for people who did not want to go to college but wanted to learn a skill. The self-employed plasterer said he was keen to branch out and had enjoyed his first taste of training. He has set up a base in Grafton Street, Nelson, for the venture.

Congratulations pal, I wish you the best of luck with your project! You're a brilliant role model for the youngsters out there.

He said: “I have been working as a plasterer for 10 years and decided I wanted to try something a bit different. "At first it will be worked around my normal job but it could grow.” For more information call 01282 690803 or visit www.artofplastering.co.uk.
